Happy Belated Birthday Erin!

In all the craziness of last week I forgot to post a birthday picture of Auntie Erin! I'm so sorry! (I knew it was bound to happen when I started posting on birthdays....but that doesn't mean we don't LOVE you!!) We're glad we got to help share in your birthday/engagement/race weekend!

My Sister is ENGAGED!!!

We were lucky enough to be a part of Erin and Nathan's engagement this past weekend! Nathan proposed to Erin about an hour before the race and made her a shirt to announce it to us (and everyone)! It was a huge surprise to her and to us! The only part that we didn't like was that when we found out she was trying to finish a half marathon....we wanted to her to stop and tell us EVERYTHING, but we had to wait until she finished! It was totally worth waiting for!

Happy Father's Day!

Shawn and his boys!! Father's day for him was a nice relaxing day with some recovering from the race as well. He is such a great Dad and a wonderful husband and my kids are very blessed to have him as their dad! Happy Father's/Grandpa's Day to our dads too! We love you very much and are thankful everyday our children get to know who you are!

Grandma's Half Marathon weekend

We had 3 runners at our house this year and they all did wonderful!

Nathan got a high 5 from Breck and finished with his personal best time in a half marathon. Shawn did really well despite his injuries and finished close to his goal time.

Breck wore his special shirt to cheer on his favorite runners! Erin also did really well even though we made her stop for a few hugs! And here they all are after running a great race! Nice job Runners!

We are glad to spend the weekend here with us!

Someday I'll drive a Bulldozer....

All of you know how much Breck LOVES anything thing with an engine or wheels. Well I found this hat and vest at the store the other day.....and he has yet to take them off. He wore the hat in the store and kept telling everyone he saw that "Someday Breck drive a bulldozer"!

Sometimes he says he'll drive a dump truck but either way he is one happy kid!

Here's a little video that Uncle Greg took of Breck and I at the golf course he works at. This was his first time on a golf course - he was fun to have with. He really enjoyed being on the greens and riding in the golf cart!

Summer Toys

Breck has been very interested in sports for as long as we can remember. Golf has been at the top of the list as well as baseball. The other day he told Shawn he wanted a glove to catch balls. So we went out and found one he liked. The only problem is that they don't make kids equipment for leftys!!

He does really well throwing with both hands right now, but you can tell he wants to take off the glove and throw with his left hand. Sometimes he even tries to throw the ball from the glove.

Same with the new driver. This picture he was trying to use the flat side but it was pretty hard for him. And definately a lefty for batting!

To top it all off...he got a tricycle!! Wow is this boy having a blast with all of his new accessories! We are going to be playing a lot of catch/baseball/golf this summer!
