IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!

I have been waiting for this day since Breck was born, so almost 2 1/2 years! People always talk about their kids falling asleep in their highchairs eating, on the floor playing, or in random places...well that has never happened to us... until TODAY!! Cullen fell asleep in his bouncy seat. One minute he was jumping away and then next he was out cold! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

Cullen's 5 Months!!

Cullen is so much fun. He is full of smiles, loves to tell stories, and knows exactly what he wants. He is holding his own bottles, sitting a short while on his own, rolling and rotating in circles on the floor, and curling those knees up trying to scoot. Love it!

Cullen's Baptism

Cullen was baptised last weekend with Shawn and my families present. My grandparents Gladys and Harvey were also able to join us. Cullen's Godparents are Erin & Nathan, and Stacy & Steve. We had a very nice time together. Thank you all for sharing in this special day with us!

Burns Family Vacation

We had such a wonderful vacation with the Burns'. It was very hot and humid so it was really nice to be on the water. Breck went fishing, tubing, skiing, swimming, and on boat/pontoon/paddle boat rides. Cullen did some swimming and a lot of observing. Greg, Shawn and I tried to get as many ski runs in as we could. Grandpa took Breck fishing and Grandma took him to the park. We did a lot together and also enjoyed some quiet time!

Family Picnic

Another beautiful yet HOT day in Duluth. We decided to take a picnic down to the lake to cool off.
Cullen had his gormet meal :) while we enjoyed sandwiches, pretzles and hummus, yogurt and apples, juice and vanilla waffers for dessert!
Enjoying the breeze and the view from the blanket (dont know why this pic wont turn the right way)
Some rocks and Breck really liked climbing the BIG rocks! He is getting pretty good at it too, although he made his dad a little nervous! It was a great family night out by the beautiful lake!

Tall Ships and Huskie Game

We walked down to Leif Erickson Park last Thursday to watch the Tall Ships come in to Duluth. What a cool site!! It was so hot Breck jumped right in with little hesitation. He had a blast swimming in Lake Superior. Cullen on the other hand sat in the shade we made for him and really didn't want to be held.
Here is another ship (some of them were used in Pirates of the Carribean movies) and my dad swinging Breck in the air with the tiny lift bridge in the background.
Getting a kiss :)
While my parents were up we went to a Huskie game as a fundraiser for St. Luke's Breast Cancer Center. Cullen enjoyed the game but didn't like the loud noises. Breck watching the game.
Culley relaxing on my parents lap and Breck SO excited he got POPCORN!!! A pretty boring game, but a beautiful night!!
