11 months old

Our baby is not really a baby anymore. We are down to 1 month in planning for his 1st birthday! It's so hard to believe we have 2 little boys and no more infants. He is such a fun and smiley little guy. Still no real progress in the walking department but that's ok cause we can hardly keep up with how fast he crawls.
He does like to stand. This picture actually looks like he is walking, but he's not. It's even kind of weird to look at for us. But that is what we will be looking at shortly!
His favorite games are peek a boo and gonna get you. He loves to be chased and loves to find you. I can hear him laughing just looking at this picture!

Great Lakes Aquarium

There is a replica of the Great Lakes where kids can take toy boats and float them through the lakes and the locks. Breck loves watching the boats change water levels and opening the locks. Cullen could care less about the boats....he just wants to SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH!! They get aprons to cover their clothes but it didn't matter, he was SOAKED!!
Watching the fish swim by. Cullen wanted to get in the tank and Breck kept his distance!
Breck and his new friend Turtle! He was following him everywhere.
"Here Mom, you forgot your camera case!"
And back to the boats again:)
Then the boys needed to go fishing too. Cullen loved crawling in the boat, trying to eat the fish and tangling the line. We had a really good time enjoying the wonders of the Northland!

Boxes, Drums, and Trucks

Boxes are SO much fun! The boys spend lots of time hiding, playing, climbing, and traping each other in boxes. Usually in the morning with pj's still on:) Or both trying to get in the box at the same time!
Who's gonna win??
Cheese! Looks like Breck won this time.
They made up and decided to rock out together. Breck on the drums and Cullen on the mic. They actually sounded good too!
Ok, so maybe Culley likes the taste of the mic too, either way they were both dancing, singing or yelling and having fun!
And Cullen is finally big enough or daring enough to go for a ride on Breck's zamboni.
I love everyday with my boys! They are so much fun and I find myself laughing all the time.

Weekend travelers...

Last weekend I took the boys to Mankato and Blaine for a wedding shower, birthday party and baby shower without Shawn. It was very busy but also very fun. I was so busy I didn't really take many pictures and my battery died too - so that didn't help :(
Cullen enjoyed playing the piano at grandma's this time. He is now tall enough to play from the floor. He also likes playing loud :)
On Saturday we had a wedding shower for Kaylan. Grandpa Mike and Uncle Greg took Breck ice skating while the girls were at the house. They had a good time, but didn't take pictures either. But Breck did get to enjoy the dessert with Grandma when he got back.
Culley doesn't like anything on his head, so this pictures took two people to make happen. But he looks pretty happy! He might enjoy playing hockey as much as his big brother someday:)
Uncle Greg and Cullen having a moment. Culley didn't sleep more than 20 consecutive minutes the night before so he wasn't in the best of moods....but he did ok.
But this is what followed.... probably the deepest sleep I have ever seen from this kid. I tried everything to wake him up but nothing worked. When I tried to pick him up, he would curl up deeper onto his blanket.
Then about 10 minutes into our drive to Blaine I look back to see Breck sleeping with crackers in hand and a bite in his mouth he never finished chewing.....what a tired guy!
Saturday was also Stacy's birthday!!!! So we celebrated her and Sunday was my cousins baby shower. So busy we stayed sunday night too. I don't have any pictures of that either...sorry!
Just got one of my dad playing with the boys...
And one of my mom cuddling with the tired, worn out, sleepy, ready to be home boys!

around the house

Cullen is doing more walking with his toys but still has no real interest in walking. But he does like the wheels! He will push it a little and then let go, take a few more steps and let go. His balance is getting much better too.
Breck loves to make things, cut paper, glue, color and paint. Here he is making valentines.
Culley is checkin out his brothers new carseat. He felt like such a "big boy" sitting it it, he didn't want to get out. He spent a lot of time playing and sitting in it.

National Anthem

Cullen was cheering for the players as they were announced (and you can see dad against the boards with the other refs in the background).
We finally made it to one of the games that Shawn was ref'ing. Breck loves the national anthem and sings it quite often and was super excited to be at an arena and get to sing along.

Weekend out....

Shawn and I had tickets to the Bulldog/Gopher hockey series a few weekends ago and were lucky enough to have my parents in town to watch the boys so we could REALLY enjoy ourselves. Two date nights in a row was wonderful and we enjoyed spending time with friends after both games.
Saturday morning we took a hike through Chester Creek. The weather was beautiful and the snow covered trees and mostly frozen waters belows were amazing. Both boys really had fun looking at everything.
Breck loves reading books and Grandpa is a good reader. It gives him time to recover between hockey games, fe fi fo fum, and did I mention hockey? Cullen and grandma Dee were hanging out playing toys. He has been standing for between 5 and 15 seconds all by himself. But still is showing no real signs of wanting to walk.
Thanks again Mom and Dad for a much needed break from our kiddos and some quality time with each other!

Crazy Hair Brothers

Breck normally has pretty crazy hair but after taking off his hat it is truely out of control! He thought it was pretty cool though, "Mom, I have spiky hair!" Brotherly love~ watching the garbage truck going through the alley.
Cullen's hair on the other hand is usually pretty normal. But today after drinking his bottle with his head on a fleece blanket things got crazy! His hair was all over the place!

Sick Boys

Both our guys have had the nasty cough, runny nose and low grade temps FOREVER!! I don't think they are ever going away. But other than them feeling yucky and being a little on the crabby side they have been pretty good sports about the whole thing. They like to cuddle, not usually with each other ( mostly with mom and dad) but they did want to be close this day!

February Already !!!

Cullen and Breck laughing at me as I was trying to take pictures of them. But of course, they thought is was more funny to look away, not smile, and crawl/dive away from me. This one I got by doing a jig with sound effects! I swear...the things I do to make them laugh :) Beyond Sweet! So much love between brothers :)
In the process of a tackle! Again, they have so much fun together!
Breck with a bear he got before he was born. And I do believe they were very similar in size when we brought him home from the hospital! I can hardly believe it.
Monkey man.....he is for sure our little dare devil! He did a full summersault over a step stool, landed head first on the tile bathroom floor, and sat up as if nothing happened... just to get a toy he wanted. (you can see the egg on his forehead!)
And Culley-bear with a giraffe that he loves to play with! Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do.
