Cullen's Day-O-Fun!

Cullen woke up in his temporary big boy bed a 2 year old yesterday morning with 2 big balloons waiting for him to play with!

A great big smile for a happy BIG boy!

Opened a few gifts before Dad headed to work.

Then of course began the races with the new cars. Breck got his awesome truck from a friend for his bday and Cullen was pretty jealous. So it made picking his gift pretty easy! The sirens are a huge sucess!

Cullen also got a talking Curious George book that I think we all have memorized already! It did however create a good picture taking opportunity. Then it was on to cake, Gooey Almond Cake to be exact!

Breck wanted a brother picture and Cullen wanted to finish his cake! Haha

A quick picture in the tree before we headed out to Adventure Zone. We needed to get out of the house, burn some energy, and more importantly have some family time together! Dad and Cullen playin' whack-a-shark.

Skee-ball is a must!

Then we played a little mini golf. Breck got in about 3 rounds of 9 holes while Cullen played the same hole over and over. Once again how different our boys are!

We played at the playground, did some arcade games, went down the giant fire truck slide, and ended with a good game of air hockey! Both boys crashed when we got home.... mission accomplished! Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Cullen! We sure did! Love you

Skating Party

Birthday boy Breck wanted an outdoor skating party this year, but since the weather has been crazy warm for this time of year we weren't able to be outside. We instead had a little room at the Heritage Sports Center. Notice Breck's "cake" was hockey pucks!!

The room was great! We had plenty of space for kids playing hockey, parents talking, and lots of commotion. Forgot to take my camera out so didn't get any playing, eating, or socializing. Guess that means I was having too much fun :) Breck opening some presents.

Got one pretty good one of most of the kiddos at the party. Mia and her sister Paige on the left, Amara (2 week old sister, Cora not pictured), Cullen behind her, Julia and her brother Jackson in back, Breck, and Hayden and his sister Campbell. What a crew! And 7 of the 10 kids are March birthdays, with an April, July and December! Cullen getting his stakes on!

Hayden and Breck are 3 days apart in age and both very good hockey players/skaters! And Breck and Julia (his wife) and friend from school. We had a great evening with great friends!

Double the FUN!

Who would have thought that a birthday party for the boys in March would be spent outside at the park, on the deck, and in 80 degree weather! Nothing beats underdogs! Such a great way to start the day. And I don't know who is more excited for Erin's (and Nathan's) baby, Me or Breck!

I was very ill prepared for the heat and our boys had no summer clothes to wear, so Breck improvised while helping Grandma Dee rake the yard with rain boots and his underwear :) Breck was helping Cullen show people with his fingers how many two was going to be. He was having a hard time with one hand so Breck showed him one finger on two hands! It worked!

The best one of our family we could get. And the whole Burns crew. Greg brought his girlfriend, Krista too. It was the first time we got to meet her and we hope we didn't scare her away!

There is nothing better than having your WHOLE family together to celebrate such special events together! We love you all very much and feel so blessed! Thank you, again! Gotta have one of the cake too ( Stacy and I spent about 3 hours frosting it!)

Ending the party with a little balloon fun! And last but not least bedtime for Breck usually consists of stuffing his shirt with (curious) George to have a belly like Erin's. Today they got to compare....who's is bigger?
