Memorial Weekend

Grandma Dee and Grandpa Gary stopped by on their way to Vermillion and got to play a little baseball in the backyard.  Breck was really hitting them far!  Cullen and Mom playing in the sandbox!

Culley and Grandma playing in the sand too.

Then on Saturday we headed over to Paul and Meghan's cabin for 2 days.  Breck caught his first sunny of the year!

And Cullen caught his first fish!!  Another sunny!

Breck sure kept Paul and Meg entertained!  He made them play catch, of course, with lots of rules!  But he made a great catch.  Breck excited, Paul impressed, and Meg encouraging!
It was pretty wet and rainy too. So Paul showed the boys how to play Golden Tee.  Breck did well, but Cullen was actually really good!

Dr. Breck was taking care of his patient Meghan and her babies.  She really is carrying one of her own but Breck needed to add more for his pleasure.  He made sure she had enough pillows and blankets and made sure the rest of us were quite so she could get her rest!

Shawn and Paul spent some time, effort, and brainpower building stairs from the cabin down to the lake.  They had a few set backs but ended up getting pretty far and they looked great!

When the work was over, the playing began.  Cullen driving the jet ski.  He was so excited! No messing around either, once he got on the "boat" his hands did not leave the handlebars...he was ready to go!

The boys waiting for another turn on the jet ski!  And Breck driving the jet ski as well.  Thanks again, Kalinowski's for a fun weekend!  Hope you enjoyed a little peace and quite once we left :)

Last Day of Preschool!

Breck super excited on the way to school for Beach Day, which also happened to be his last day of the year as well.  Then I got one of the boys at his last lunch.

Breck talking Ms. Bethany's ear off.  Something he is very good at :)  And all the other kiddos in their beach day attire.

We went to Burrito Union for a special dinner to celebrate one year down....14+ years to go!

Then the school had a concert and potluck to celebrate the end of the year.  This is most of the Blue group before singing a bunch of cute songs for us.

Breck and his favorite teacher Mrs. Patti!  A big hug for a great year and a huge smile to say Thank you! Looking forward to next year!

A proud Mom and Dad with their oldest son! Love you, Breckster!

Mankato for a Week!

Well last week, almost 2 have been busy with lots of fun things.  I left for IL on Friday the 11th.  Shawn had the boys for the weekend and then brought them 1/2 way to Mankato where Mike and Carol took the boys for the rest of the week.  I got home late Tuesday night so both Shawn and I had 2 days around the house alone to get stuff done.  Wow was it nice:)  Then we both headed down on Thursday night to spend a long weekend with them as well.    It was very warm so we spent lots of time outside.

This area was designated as the boys construction zone and by the sounds of it they spent many hours there.

Dumping Zone.

Waiting for Breck to bring him another load.

Helping Grandma make scones!

Cooling off.  Breck was already out and dressed again, but I think he wanted to get back in!

Mom giving Cullen a ride on the scooter.  Riding his bike!  The driveway also got a lot of use!  Obviously I don't have many pictures since I wasn't there, but they have told me that they went to the Zoo with Grandpa while Grandma was at work, went to the chirofactory with Grandma because her back was hurting! haha (chiropractor)  We went to Grandma's work, and the park that's far away that has tennis courts.  Cullen also added that Grandma's has treats at her work!  Sounds like they had a wonderful time!  Thanks again for taking the boys for such a long time!

Anna's Graduation

Last Saturday we headed down to Walnut Grove, MN to celebrate Anna's graduation from High School.  Here she is (center) with her sister Kaylan and cousin Greg.

And here are the "hommies" back in action.  Uncle Jimmy and Breck reminiscing about the old days when Jimmy ate dinner at our house once a week!
Anna and Cullen :)

Breck playing with all the farm toys, trucks, blocks, and accessories you could imagine.  And let me tell you, he wasn't having any fun at all!! ;)

The boys heading out to the barn to check out the tractors and baby pigs.

Breck in heaven!

Both boys having a chance to stand in a tire of the tractor!  Pretty cool!

`
Ben showing them all the buttons and levers inside the cab.

Ben got all suited up to catch a baby pig for the boys to see.  I think we were all a little shocked at how loud and high pitched they squeel.  They did both pet them at least once.  Then looking was just fine!  Thanks, Johnson's for giving us City Folk a tour of your barn.
And last but not least, a cousin picture.  Starting at the left... Ben, Anna, Uncle Greg, Breck being held by Kaylan, Nathan, Shawn, and Cullen and myself.

Lucas is here!

I finally got to hold my nephew Lucas Price Thomas at 1  week old.  He is so sweet, cuddly, and perfect!  I spent 5 days in IL with the new parents and lil guy.  It was so much fun to see them as parents and spend time with Lucas.  I got a picture of a tired Mommy and her baby too.

This lil guy sure likes to sleep :)  and he's so cute when he does.  Yawning is always a sure sign of an upcoming nap!  Can't have too many pictures of a sleeping baby, especially in a froggy sleeper!

He was also very alert.  He has beautiful eyes!

Thanks Erin and Nathan for letting come down and meet your lil guy!  It was wonderful :)

Biking!

I've decided I am going to bike as much as I can this summer.  So yesterday was our second biking adventure.  We biked down to the lift bridge and watched a few charters go under the bridge, we biked over the bridge and explored on the other side a bit, and we spent over 4 hours biking the Lake Walk.  Here Breck is getting a drink of water because the water I brought appently wasn't good enough for him:)
Throwing rocks I thought was Breck's favorite thing to do, however, Cullen might enjoy it more!  Too close to call, but his smile sure tell a lot doesn't it?
Brothers!  Throwing rocks together :)

Checking to see if that is Uncle Greg on that sail boat.

What a great view!  Cullen is liking it too!

Cullen and Breck steering the wheel opposite directions! Cullen was a little surprised it went the other way too!

Helping Dad with some yard work!  Notice they both have work gloves :)

Cudding and reading a bit before bed!  I love these guys!
