Concert & Snow

I joined Breck's school on a field trip the other day to The Pines for a little Christmas Concert.  The residents really enjoyed the kids, their enthusiasm, and of course their silliness.  It's always nice to see your child (and other's) making other people happy!

Breck is in the front row (the 4th sitting kid from the right).  I know most of them don't look too happy in this picture because they were so busy concentrating on the songs they didn't look up much.  They did have a really good time though!

Here it is....our Christmas tree!  Yes, it was dark by the time we found the perfect one.  Thanks again, Pine Knob Tree Farm for allowing us to get our tree from you every year.   It has been such a fun tradition for us. And it's always great to see the Melandar Family too!

Carroll Weekend & Bentleyville

The Carroll Family.  We were all looking forward to this adventure, however, Shay wasn't feeling very well (as you can see in this picture) and didn't make it very long before she headed to the car and crashed ( for 15 hours) so there is no group picture this year.

The other half of the group....too bad we couldn't paste 2 pictures together!  Oh well, we had a good time. 

All the kiddos in the pack-n-play together, or should I say their fort!  We had a wonderful time hanging out, hopefully next time everyone will be healthy!!

Sledding

The boys and I headed out sledding one evening and had an awesome time!   We were there for at least 2 hours and made lots of trips up and down the hill.

Look at them go!  So much fun.  Too bad we don't have any snow left.  Hope we get some again soon!

Last week Mia and Paige were here for two days.  All the kids had a lot of fun playing together.

Thanksgiving!

Here we go folks!  I hope this works!  Now for catch-up,  we spent Thanksgiving in Mankato with the Burns/Johnson/Nelson/Pool families.  Here are all the cousins for a nice group shot.

Aunt Kathy's friend and co-worker, Trooper Matt, joined us for lunch since he was on duty in the area.  The boys were SO excited.  Here he was flashing his lights, and blaring his sirens!  The boys loved it even though they covered their ears :)

Later that night we went to a light display.  Cullen fell asleep and I tried to take pictures from the trunk,  it was more beautiful than this picture shows!

Then we headed to Blaine for some snow fights with Uncle Brent!  Yes this was the first snow (actual snow) the boys have enjoyed all year!  They were in heaven :)

Mom, Stacy and I got in a game of cards in while the boys were watching the football game.  

Breck is loving the drums, or music in general.  So Uncle Steve brought his guitar and they had a jam session.  It was pretty fun to listen to them play.  Surprisingly they were good!

Most of the crew.  No Thomas Family and Courtney was working, but still managed to get us crammed in the stairway :) for a picture!

   I have lots of pictures to upload and we have been pretty busy since my last post, however, the system keeps changing and I have to now upload from a different site and attach them ( or something like that)  and I am not the most savey person when it comes to computers!  So there are more posts coming, and I will do my best to get them up!  But for now, this is what you get :) 

Happy holidays everyone!  Enjoy this busy time of year the best you can!  I am really trying this year to be in the moment and share in all these wonderful adventures with my children and not get too caught up in "all the stuff I have to get done"!
