Hike in Chester Creek

Shawn was gone this last weekend and on Sunday it was gorgeous out so the boys and I took a super long and fun hike through Chester Creek up to Chester Bowl.  These boys loved every minute of it, and my view was pretty good too :)  So sweet!

Such a wonderful day with my little ones!  I love that we live in such a beautiful place with so many fun things to do.  Glad I got to spend some quality with these two cuties!

Grandparents Tea

On Monday Cullen's school had Grandparents Tea and both sets of Grandparents were able to attend.  Cullen practiced the songs all week and was so excited but when he had to go on stage he had a bit of stage fright.  No singing for this guy, but he had fun once he was able to be with the g'parents.

Shawn came too and here they were reading a book together.  Cullen is always a sucker for cuddling :)

Evening Bike Ride & Sports

As the weather is changing we need to take advantage of beautiful evenings!  So we headed down to the Lakewalk for a bike ride,  and of course, throwing rocks!

Saturday morning chores :)  They both had to wear their Home Depot craft aprons while cleaning.  Cullen was in charge of vacuuming and Breck was the duster!

Last Sunday was skate with the Bulldogs.  Cullen got skates on but wasn't quite ready to do much skating.  And Breck was having a blast out on the ice (didn't get any pictures of that)

Breck is in Kindergarten!

Well I knew this day was inevitable, but now that it's here I don't know if I am more proud of him or sad that I don't get to be with him everyday.  Either way he is one very happy, excited, and brave kiddo!

This is the face I see walking so proudly down the stairs on his first day of school.  He was stoked to ride the bus and carry his new backpack! 

Not that there weren't a few yawns and stretches cause we are going to have to adjust to a new and EARLY schedule, but there were more smiles than anything so I will take that! Hope it continues :)

Love this kid!

We headed out to the bus stop in a few sprinkles and waited for the bus to come.  Nothing pulls at a moms heart strings like watching her first child getting on the BIG bus (I mean look at how big that first step is for him) and head off to school with such anticipation and excitement!

After Finnley's baptism we tried to get a few family pictures.  The boys always have their own ideas of how they should smile or where their hands should go.  So some are nice and others are silly!

Last Sunday was our niece, Finnley's baptism.  Brent & Courtney have a wonderful daughter and we are super excited to have another baby in the family.
