Such an amazing, energetic, fun-loving, sweet, and athletic boy we have on our hands.  Can't wait for another wonderful year!

Breck's 6th Birthday!

Look how excited this lil guy is to have his Mom and Dad come for his birthday!  How is he 6 already!

On Friday we went to Breck's school for game day and to celebrate his birthday!  Here Dad is helping his group play some games.

On Saturday morning Breck choose sugar donuts and scones for breakfast (or Breck-fast as he calls it) and he's still wearing his crown from school!

He opened a few gifts from us (clothes, hockey gloves, and a jacket)

 

Then we headed to Adventure Zone with his buddies Rilo and August.  Playing some air hockey :)

After A.Z we went to Grandma's Sports Garden for dinner and Champ was there!!! Breck got a shirt cause it was his birthday and posed for this awesome picture!  Rilo, his sister Tenzy, Champ and Breck!

Washington D.C.

Shawn and I took another trip to D.C. this year with his boss Marla and her husband Juhl to accept an award from the APA to St. Luke's for a healthy workplace.  Here we are with the Jefferson monument in the background.

After watching so so so much money being printed we saw how much Shawn is worth in hundreds!

Wish we got to walk away with that kind of cash.

At Arlington National Cemetery watching the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. Very powerful!

You just can't put into words what this really looks like until you are there.  Tombs as far as the eye can see from all directions.  Over 300,000 at rest here.  Amazing.

We also went on a night tour of the monuments and it was really cool.  This was at Iwo Jima

Martin Luther King Jr, Roosevelt, Vietnam, Korean, 

The Capitol, Lincoln, Jefferson, and Madson.  It was a very cool experience to hear so much information that you wouldn't just know.

Of course, had to get a picture of all the people skating outdoors in T-shirts.  We love outdoor rinks!

DAHA Tourney

Breck's last hockey tourney of the year is always inside (so nice!) He definitely gravitates towards defense and spends a lot of time keeping pucks out of his net. 

Uncle Greg came up for a visit and got to catch a few of Breck's game as well and watch the Zamboni with Cullen.
