Finnley's 1, Hockey & Running

My Finn Finn is 1.  Happy birthday, Sweet Girl!

We celebrated with an egg roll and some yummy food!  Love these kids!

We hit up the hockey rink which is a skate park in the summer and played some roller hockey.  The boys started out with lots of gear...

but shed most of it as it was 82 degrees out.

Our second week of races and Cullen ran even faster this week.  Can you see Shawn in the crowd?  With a huge smile.  Cullen even slowed down to give him a high five as he ran by.

Look at those strides!

Another 1st place for this little guy!  He ran it in 37 seconds.

Breck was in the back of his heat and had to work to make a move.

He started passing more people on the straightaway.  Look at the focus and determination on his face.

With only a few meters left he pasted the leader...

And won his race too!  In 32 seconds!
So much fun!  Nice running, boys!

Wisconsin Point, Golf, Cleaning & the Zoo

Eberths are in the process of moving back to Duluth and we got together for a picnic on the beach.  Paige, Cullen, Mia, and Breck had a blast!

Paul and Shawn giving the dogs a bath. Lola was easier than Mazie, but they both got clean!

The kids hard at work!

And so brave to be in that water!  How adorable are they though!!

A little mini-golf is always good for the soul!

I better start getting better at this sport since I have a feeling I will be playing a lot of it in my future!

You can never start them too young!  Both boys wanted to help clean and they picked to start in the bathroom!  I thought it was a good choice since they are the ones that usually make this space so messy!

I snapped on pic while we were at the Lake Superior Zoo of the boys in the petting Zoo.  I was shocked Cullen went in without hesitation and pet most of the animals in there.
Another fun day in the books!

Friends, ANW, & Running

We were finally around to have some friends over to play.  This day they all spent the morning at Sam's house and then came to our house for the afternoon.  Popsicles, swimming, and water fights were a perfect way to spend this sunny day!

And when Rilo came over it was a rainy day so it consisted of hockey in the basement, forts and a movie!

American Ninja Warrior is our favorite show.  So we made the quadtupple steps for our backyard.  Breck was showing me how well he could do it.

Cullen also ran the course and made it through.

They did it so much that they had to take off their shirts cause they were too hot.  Breck finished the course in record time and will be heading off to Vegas for the finals.

Cullen followed suit and mastered the course as well.

Then this ninja decided to give himself a haircut.  So mom had to buzz his head.  A nice cool summer look I guess.

Wednesday night at the races started too and Cullen had his fast shoes on.  He totally dominated the course.

He ran so fast it looked like he was running alone.  Nice run buddy.

Breck also ran a great race and finished second.

Nice run buddy!

Two happy runners!

Summer adventures

At our Public Library they have shows every Tuesday during the month of July.  This one was a juggling act and very good.  They boys loved him! Cullen in yellow shirt and Breck in navy.  He juggled fire, knives, and a apple that he ate while on top of a ladder.

You can see the excitement in their posture.  So fun!

Then we went in and found some books to take home along with playing a game together on the computer.  I love when they work together and have fun doing it!

Down by the Lake splashing in the water.

Climbing Ninja warrior style!

The pooch after some swimming :)

Breck crushing his last hit of the year as his 2nd year of baseball comes to an end.

Burns boys working together.  Dad/coach pitching, Cullen batting, and Breck catching.
LOVE!

Touching home plate and finishing his 1st year of T-ball with a huge smile on his face!
Way to go, Culleybear!

Nothing says summer like watching hockey in July.  Shawn usually refs on weekend and this was it.  My two wild fans wanted to be on the ice really really bad!

And since we were in Cloquet we had to have lunch at Gordy's and play at the playground!
